attended for four years and would never wish that upon any person in this world to go through what i went through. all the kids do drugs which they are perfectly aware of and all the board and headmaster is interested in is the image of the school to outsiders. all they care about is their perfect better than everyone standards and their "hundred" percent graduation rate when in reality they havent had a hundred percent graduation since the 90's. David Gardener the upper school principal is possibly one of the most uninformed people in the world and has the intention of snooping into every students personal life outside of school whether they have a right to or not as they even admit. the headmaster Ellen Flemming, is possibly one of the rudest people ive delt with and even tries to pry into students criminal records and medical records. the school nurse is also absolutely clueless as to what her profession entails and has no idea what she is talking about. over the past year or two their reputation within the brunswick and st simons community has steadily declined as many students have left to attend Glynn Academy in brunswick.

This is the best school for my children by far then any below grade public school in the area. My children have been attending for years and would never go to another school and are making it hard for us to decide whether to move to Florida or not. I went to blue ribbon schools in the northeast and this school blows that "experience" away. This school caters to every need my children have ever needed. To say the nurse is misguided? Are you kidding? The nurse at Frederica is filled with so much knowledge about heath, she should be an MD. This school is nothing short of fabulous, brilliant and a wonderful place for my children.....! Love this school!

My husband and I are thrilled with the experience our son is having at Frederica Academy, first in Kindergarten and now First Grade. Both of us are graduates of Alabama private schools and can see how FA will allow our son the same opportunities we were given in small learning communities. The school is focused on providing growth opportunities for the Mind, Body and Spirit. The other day when a librarian asked me if I "home-schooled" my son, I responded, "Not exclusively!" As parents, we see to these growth areas at home, but we know that we need a partner in education to reinforce what we are doing. The community of Frederica Academy is just that. We look forward to starting our daughter in Pre-K next year.
